Meet Maura Chippendale, Au.D.
Doctor of Audiology and Owner

Dr. Maura Chippendale is an experienced and compassionate Doctor of Audiology and practice owner dedicated to providing exceptional hearing healthcare to her patients. With nearly four decades of clinical experience, Dr. Chippendale has built her career around improving the lives of those with hearing loss, tinnitus, and sound sensitivity through evidence-based care and advanced technology. Dr. Chippendale earned both her Bachelor of Science in Audiology (1984) and Master of Education in Audiology (1985) from the University of Georgia. In 2014, she achieved her Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) from A.T. Still University’s Arizona School of Health Sciences. She holds the Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology (FAAA). In addition, Dr. Chippendale earned Board Certification from the American Board of Audiology (BC-ABA) in 2002 and is a Certificate Holder for Tinnitus Management. Dr. Chippendale has completed advanced specialty training in tinnitus and hyperacusis management through the Tinnitus Practitioners Association and trained directly under renowned researcher Dr. Pawel Jastreboff, becoming a certified provider of Tinnitus Retraining Therapy (TRT). Her professional journey began in Macon, Georgia, where she worked with an ENT group before relocating to Southwest Florida in 1988. After years of providing audiology services for multiple ENT practices, Dr. Chippendale purchased her own audiology practice in 2012, where she continues to provide patient-centered care guided by best-practice standards. Beyond clinical work, Dr. Chippendale is deeply involved in her community and global humanitarian efforts. She is passionate about veterans’ needs and actively supports fundraising for the Darkhorse Lodge, a combat veterans’ retreat in Tennessee. She is also an advocate for hearing accessibility, having helped bring looping technology to the Florida Repertory Theatre for individuals with hearing impairment. In 2018, she joined Hearing the Call, a nonprofit organization providing hearing healthcare to underserved regions, where she served in Tembisa, South Africa. When not in the office, Dr. Chippendale enjoys traveling, live theater, and spending time with her family. Her dedication to her patients, community, and global outreach reflects her lifelong passion for helping others hear better and live fully.
